2025 Kawasaki Versys 650 Launched in India at ₹7.93 Lakh with OBD2B Compliance

Kawasaki has rolled out the 2025 Versys 650 in India, now priced at ₹7.93 lakh (ex-showroom). This updated model adheres to the latest OBD2B emission standards and introduces a fresh dual-tone grey-and-green colour scheme, adding a dash of modern flair to the sport-touring machine.

The price sees a modest hike of ₹16,000 compared to the previous version. Aside from the emissions upgrade and cosmetic refresh, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to draw power from the familiar 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, producing 67hp and 61Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. This proven engine setup is shared across multiple Kawasaki models, including the Ninja 650, Z650, Z650RS, and Vulcan S.

The design, ergonomics, and touring-focused features stay consistent with the outgoing model. Notably, the 2024 iteration was recently available with a ₹30,000 discount, making the latest update a mild but necessary revision to keep the Versys 650 compliant and competitive.
