BMW Motorrad has unveiled the R 1300 GSA at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, with an introductory price of ₹22.95 lakh. Positioned as the adventure-focused counterpart to the R 1300 GS, the GSA packs advanced features and enhanced off-road capabilities.

- Automated Clutch System: The R 1300 GSA introduces BMW’s Automated Shift Assistant, offering an automatic clutch for smoother rides.
- Radar-Assisted Tech: The bike comes equipped with advanced safety features like radar-enabled adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring, available on the top-end variant.
- Bookings and Deliveries: Reservations are now open, with deliveries scheduled to start in April 2025.
Performance and Design
The R 1300 GSA shares its 1,300cc engine with the standard R 1300 GS, delivering 145hp at 7,750rpm and 149Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Despite its power output remaining unchanged, the GSA stands out with a 30-liter fuel tank, making it ideal for long-distance and off-road expeditions.
Weighing 269kg, it is 32kg heavier than the standard GS and a kilogram heavier than its predecessor, the R 1250 GSA.
Variants and Pricing
The R 1300 GSA is available in three distinct variants:
- Triple Black
- GS Trophy
- Option 719 Karakorum (featuring radar-assisted technology)
Priced ₹1.75 lakh higher than the R 1300 GS, the GSA also carries a ₹45,000 premium over the outgoing R 1250 GSA.
