BMW Motorrad to Unveil R 1300 GSA and Updated S 1000 RR at Auto Expo 2025

BMW Motorrad India is gearing up for an exciting showcase at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, where it will debut two high-profile motorcycles: the R 1300 GSA and the refreshed S 1000 RR. The R 1300 GSA is set to be the brand’s flagship adventure touring bike, while the S 1000 RR continues to solidify its position as one of the most performance-focused supersport machines in BMW’s lineup, second only to the M 1000 series.

BMW R 1300 GSA: Bigger and More Advanced Adventure Touring

The R 1300 GSA steps into the spotlight as the successor to the R 1250 GSA, carrying forward its legacy as BMW’s largest adventure motorcycle. While the standard R 1300 GS shed some weight compared to its predecessor, the GSA version has gained an additional kilogram over the outgoing R 1250 GSA. The new model boasts cutting-edge technology, including radar-assisted rider aids and BMW’s ASA (Automated Shift Assistant), which eliminates the need for a manual clutch lever.

When launched, the R 1300 GSA is expected to command a premium over the current R 1250 GSA, which is priced at ₹22.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Updated S 1000 RR: Subtle Changes with a Sporty Edge

For 2025, the S 1000 RR receives a fresh design update, featuring redesigned fairings and winglets for enhanced aerodynamics. Additionally, the bike now comes equipped with front wheel covers integrated with cooling ducts to improve brake performance. Despite these visual and aerodynamic enhancements, the motorcycle’s mechanical underpinnings remain unchanged.

The current S 1000 RR is priced between ₹20.75 lakh and ₹25.25 lakh (ex-showroom), and the updated model is likely to come with a slightly higher price tag.

A Diverse Showcase of BMW Motorrad’s Lineup

Beyond these launches, BMW Motorrad will also present an extensive lineup of its latest models at the event. This includes the M 1000 XR, R 1300 GS, F 900 GS, F 900 GSA, R 12 nineT, the G 310 series, and the CE 02 and CE 04 electric scooters.

The Auto Expo 2025 promises to be a landmark event for BMW Motorrad enthusiasts, offering a glimpse into the future of adventure, performance, and innovation in motorcycling.
