Triumph Motorcycles has officially launched the updated Speed Twin 900 in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹8.89 lakh (Delhi). First unveiled in October, the 2025 model brings notable aesthetic and hardware upgrades while retaining its trusted engine setup.
Performance and Engine
The bike continues to be powered by a 900cc parallel-twin engine, delivering an unchanged 65hp and 80Nm of torque. It retains the 5-speed gearbox from its predecessor and now meets the latest Euro 5+ emission norms, ensuring compliance with global standards.
Design and Features
The updated Speed Twin 900 sports a sleeker, more minimal design with blacked-out elements, closely resembling the larger Speed Twin 1200. Key updates include a new non-adjustable Marzocchi USD front fork and Triumph-branded (J.Juan manufactured) radial calipers for enhanced braking performance.
The seat height has increased to 780mm (from the previous 765mm), with an optional low seat available, bringing it down to 760mm. Triumph has also replaced the old single-pod digi-analogue instrument cluster with a modern TFT display, akin to the one used in the Speed Twin 1200 models. Updated switchgear and electronics, including Road and Rain riding modes, cornering ABS, and traction control, further elevate the bike’s sophistication.
Availability and Pricing
Available in three color options, the new Speed Twin 900 is expected to start deliveries by January 2025. However, the updated model comes with a ₹40,000 premium, positioning it as the most affordable modern classic in Triumph’s lineup.
