Kawasaki has unveiled the 2025 ZX-4R in India, pricing it at ₹8.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle boasts a high-revving, 399cc inline-four engine capable of spinning past 15,000 rpm. It delivers 75hp (77hp with ram air assistance) and 37.6Nm of torque, offering a unique performance package in its segment.
The bike is built around a tubular steel frame and features Showa suspension components both at the front and rear. Braking duties are handled by dual 290mm discs up front, ensuring ample stopping power.
For tech enthusiasts, the ZX-4R is equipped with a 5-inch TFT display that supports Bluetooth connectivity and offers four selectable riding modes. However, those seeking additional features such as a quickshifter and preload-adjustable suspension can opt for the Ninja ZX-4RR variant, priced at ₹63,000 more. The ZX-4RR also comes in Kawasaki’s signature green livery, whereas the ZX-4R is available exclusively in black.
While the ZX-4R offers a distinctive engine configuration with no direct competitors, its pricing positions it close to larger bikes like the Triumph Daytona 660 (₹9.72 lakh) and the Suzuki GSX-8R (₹9.25 lakh), making it a compelling yet premium choice for enthusiasts.
