Royal Enfield has expanded its 650cc lineup with the launch of the all-new Bear 650 scrambler, priced from Rs 3.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). Positioned alongside models like the newly launched Classic 650, the Bear 650 brings a fresh, rugged edge to Royal Enfield’s 650cc range.
Royal Enfield Bear 650: Key Highlights
The Bear 650 builds on the same platform as the Interceptor 650, powered by the familiar 648cc parallel-twin engine. However, the Bear 650’s torque has been enhanced to 56.5Nm (4Nm higher than the Interceptor), and it features a lighter frame—shedding 2kg—thanks to a new two-in-one exhaust system.
Designed as a true scrambler, the Bear 650 is outfitted with a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, improving stability on off-road terrains. With an impressive ground clearance of 184mm, it’s also the tallest model in Royal Enfield’s 650cc lineup. Notably, it is the only model in this range to feature a TFT display, a component shared with the new Himalayan.
