Toyota Kirloskar Motor has unveiled a new mid-spec variant for its highly sought-after MPV, the Innova Crysta. Named GX+, this variant fills the gap between the GX and VX versions, offering a compelling package for customers. With a starting price of Rs 21.39 lakh, it brings added features and refinement to the table.
What’s New with the Toyota Innova Crysta GX+?
The Innova Crysta GX+ boasts 14 additional features compared to the GX model. Among these enhancements are a rear camera, auto-fold mirrors, dash cam, diamond-cut alloy wheels, wooden panels, and premium fabric seats. Available in both seven- and eight-seat configurations, the GX+ variant is priced at Rs 21.39 lakh and Rs 21.44 lakh, respectively. This positions it Rs 1.40 lakh-1.45 lakh higher than the GX offering.
Powertrain Specifications
Despite the upgrades, the powertrain remains consistent. The Innova Crysta continues to be powered by a 2.4-litre diesel engine generating 150hp and 343Nm of torque. It comes paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, ensuring a reliable and efficient driving experience.
Pricing and Competition
Currently, the Innova Crysta range spans from Rs 19.99 lakh to Rs 26.30 lakh, providing options for diverse budgets and preferences. Positioned below the relatively newer Innova Hycross in Toyota’s lineup, the Innova Crysta faces competition primarily from the Kia Carens and Mahindra Marazzo in the Indian market.
