Tata Motors EV family is now 1 Lakh strong

Tata Motors, India’s largest automaker and the leader of the electric vehicle (EV) revolution in India, just revealed that it has sold 1 Lakh Tata EVs, which is a huge milestone. This big trip shows that Tata Motors is still committed to making good changes and helping India have a bright future. Tata Motors has been at the forefront of the electric vehicle (EV) change in India for the past three years. From its first 10,000 EVs to its one millionth, the gap between them has been getting smaller and smaller. The last 50,000 were sold in just 9 months. To celebrate this special event, Tata Motors put on an amazing drone show that showed how a dream became a reality.

Mr. Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said about this very special day, “Today is a momentous day for us as we celebrate a very important milestone of 1 Lakh Tata EVs. This milestone makes us happy because it shows that our brave decision to go electric has helped spread a technology that will speed India’s move toward net zero carbon. I want to thank our EV users, the government, our investors, and the companies in the Tata uniEVerse Ecosystem for their constant support. Together, we are helping India move toward greener transportation.

“This important step is a way for electricity to grow. It shows how the ecosystem is changing quickly and gives customers, suppliers, infrastructure players, and investors the confidence to use new technologies and build skills in the industry. This kind of fast growth will give a lot of people jobs in new technologies, improve our air quality, cut down on our oil imports, and make India a key center for making EVs and EV parts. We are excited to be a part of this journey as we tap into the huge potential of the Indian auto business and look forward to many more exciting milestones.”

Tata EVs have traveled more than 1.4 billion kilometers, which is an amazing feat equal to three round trips to the sun. Customers have saved a total of 2,19,432 tons of CO2 emissions, which has a big positive effect on the environment. This is the beginning of an age with less pollution and carbon emissions. From a financial point of view, Tata EV users have saved a whopping INR 7 billion on fuel costs over the time they have owned their electric cars. This big savings shows how cost-effective and long-lasting this technology is.

Tata Motors has already announced its 3 phase electric vehicle (EV) plan to “Go Beyond.” The company wants to meet the changing needs of EV buyers by making different body styles available at different prices. The Curvv, Harrier EV, Sierra EV, and Avinya were all future designs that the company showed off at the Auto Expo 2023. These high-end electric vehicles (EVs) will attract new types of customers in India.

Charging stations will spread to every corner of the country, making travel easier and putting an end to “range anxiety.” More money is likely to be spent on building a strong supply environment for electric vehicles (EVs). The company is still committed to improving the country’s access to electricity and giving Indian customers the tools they need to make sustainable choices without sacrificing performance or reliability.
