Mini Cooper S Victory Edition Launched in India at Rs 57.5 Lakh – Celebrating a Legendary Rally Win

Mini India has launched the exclusive Mini Cooper S Victory Edition at an ex-showroom price of Rs 57.5 lakh. Offered in limited numbers as a completely built unit (CBU), this special edition pays tribute to the legendary Mini Cooper that won the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally with car number 52.

Exterior Design and Styling

The Mini Cooper S Victory Edition stands out with its distinctive Chilli Red paint finish, inspired by the original rally-winning car. It features bold ‘52’ decals on the doors, along with a contrasting white roof (black roof optional) and a white racing stripe running from the bonnet to the tailgate.

Additional highlights include ‘1965’ decals on the tailgate and D-pillars, a sporty roof spoiler, unique 18-inch alloy wheels, and a centrally mounted exhaust. The car also gets the John Cooper Works (JCW) styling package, which adds gloss black accents, JCW badging, and blacked-out Mini logos for a more aggressive appearance.

Interior and Features

Inside, the Victory Edition continues its tribute theme with several unique elements. The door sills feature ‘1965 Victory Edition’ branding, while decals honour rally driver Timo Mäkinen and co-driver Paul Easter.

The steering wheel gets a special red-and-white finish with a ‘1965’ emblem, and similar branding can be found on the centre armrest and even the key fob. The infotainment system also features a custom background inspired by the original rally-winning Mini.

In terms of features, the car comes fully loaded with premium equipment, including:

  • 9.45-inch circular touchscreen infotainment system
