Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the new OBD2 compliant 2023 Unicorn, a 160cc engine motorcycle that offers improved performance and efficiency. The bike comes with several features aimed at providing comfort and convenience to riders, including an engine stop switch for brief stops, high ground clearance, and a long seat for enhanced rider and pillion comfort. Additionally, the use of tubeless tires ensures that immediate deflation doesn’t occur in case of a puncture.
In terms of style, the new Unicorn boasts a front cowl with chrome garnish, a 3D Wing Mark, chrome stroke on the side cover, and a signature tail lamp. The design reflects both decent and premium elements.
Honda also prioritizes value and reliability for its customers. To this end, they are offering a special 10-year warranty package, which includes a 3-year standard warranty and an optional extended warranty for an additional 7 years. The new Unicorn is attractively priced starting at Rs. 1,09,800 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The 2023 Unicorn features an OBD2 compliant PGM-FI engine, which meets the latest emission norms. The engine is designed to deliver good low-end torque and fuel efficiency, with a compression ratio of 10:1. To ensure smooth power delivery, the engine is equipped with a rocker arm that reduces friction losses. Additionally, a counterweight balancer minimizes vibrations and enables smooth acceleration across different RPM ranges.
Comfort and convenience are further enhanced by the inclusion of ABS for enhanced braking performance, front and rear tubeless tires, a rear mono-shock suspension for superior riding comfort and stability, high ground clearance and a long wheelbase for rider confidence, and a long seat for comfortable long-distance travel. The motorcycle also features an engine stop switch for the convenience of turning off the engine during brief stops.
The new Unicorn comes in four color options: Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Mat Axis Gray Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue. With its advanced features, improved performance, and attractive pricing, the 2023 Unicorn offers customers a reliable and stylish option for their motorcycle needs.
