At the Auto Expo 2023 on Wednesday, MG Motor India showed off Drive. Ahead, it’s a vision for how people will get around in the future.
The company also released updated versions of its 5-seater and 7-seater Hector SUV, with prices ranging from Rs 14.72 lakh to Rs 22.42 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom, India).
As part of MG’s vision in India, the company showed off a line-up of 14 production-ready cars that focus on green, innovative, and responsible technology.
“We believe in working for a world that is sustainable, kind, and run by technology that is easy to understand. Our goal is to build an environment where being mindful and aware is a way of life. Rajeev Chaba, President and Managing Director of MG Motor India, said, “Our EV and NEV range of products on display here show that MG is committed to and working to speed up the adoption of green and sustainable mobility in India.”
The company also showed off the MG4, a pure-electric hatchback EV, and the MG EHS, a plug-in hybrid SUV. Both of these cars are high-tech, safe, and produce no pollution.
The company said that both cars have advanced safety features and make it easier to drive.
Since it came out in 2022, the MG4 EV hatchback has been sold in more than 20 European countries, such as Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Spain, Norway, and Sweden. It has five different ways to charge.
“Today at the Auto Expo 2023, we’re happy to show our customers these two cars that are known all over the world. “Their launch is based on research with customers and feedback from the market,” Chaba said.
