Tata Motors has given the Altroz a significant mid-cycle facelift for 2025, bringing in a refreshed design, premium cabin updates, and a revised variant structure. For the first time since its 2020 launch, the Altroz gets a comprehensive makeover, including a new automatic gearbox option. The lineup now follows a new naming strategy and is available in five key trims: Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+S.

The Altroz retains its familiar engine lineup:
-
1.2L Naturally Aspirated Petrol (86hp)
-
1.2L Bi-Fuel CNG-Petrol (74hp in CNG mode)
-
1.5L Diesel (90hp)
Transmission Options:
-
All engines come with a 5-speed manual.
-
The petrol variant gets both a new 5-speed AMT and the previously available 6-speed DCT.
-
CNG and diesel versions are manual-only.
Notably, the Altroz remains the only diesel-powered hatchback in India and now also offers the novelty of a petrol AMT, a combination that rivals like the Tiago already had.
The 120hp turbo-petrol engine seen in the Racer variant has been temporarily dropped from the lineup. The top-tier Accomplished+S is exclusively available with the DCT turbo-petrol.
