This new platform gives customers a seamless virtual experience by letting them book, buy, and get their favorite Toyota models delivered to their homes. Also, WOW gives customers real-time updates on the status of the Toyota product they have booked. The company says this helps build trust, credibility, and openness among customers.
“Wheels on Web” (WOW) is an online retail sales platform for the Bengaluru area that was made by Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM).
This new platform gives customers a seamless virtual experience by letting them book, buy, and get their favorite Toyota models delivered to their homes. The company also said in a press release that WOW gives customers real-time updates on the status of the Toyota product they have booked. This is done to increase credibility, transparency, and trust among customers.
“Wheels on Web” is a Business-to-Customer (B2C) platform that shows the company’s core commitment to improving the customer experience in its digital space. It makes it easy to buy a car with new features and services that make the process simple.
Wheels on Web, according to the company, gives customers a full virtual experience: they can book, buy, and get their car delivered from the comfort of their own home; they can see digital images of the car’s exterior, interior, color, and different models; and they can choose from a number of extra services, such as accessories, service packages, and an extended warranty.
Customers can even trade in their own cars. Among other online services, they can choose to have their cars evaluated in person from the comfort of their own homes.
TKM says that the digital part of its sales has grown by 5 times and that the number of e-bookings has grown by 20 times compared to previous years. Nearly 1.3 million customers visit TKM’s virtual showroom every year, which shows that it is becoming more and more popular. With the launch of “WOW,” TKM hopes to give its customers an even better digital experience. First of all, the platform has many models, such as the HyCross (gasoline), Hilux, Legender, Camry, Fortuner, and Innova Crysta (GX), which makes buying in the Bengaluru area easy and convenient.
TKM opened its virtual showroom in 2021 to give its customers a digital way to access and look at its different models and accessories, giving them a 360-degree immersive experience without leaving their homes. With this new change, the virtual showroom works well with “WOW,” which gives customers a digital experience that makes it easy to learn about and buy Toyota vehicles and services (like service packages and extended warranties).
“In line with our core belief that the customer comes first, we are always working to improve the services we offer. We think that our new online retail platform, “WOW” (Wheels on Web), will change the way people buy cars in India, said Atul Sood, Vice President of Sales and Strategic Marketing at Toyota Kirloskar Motor.
“Our goal here is to offer services that add value and make it easy to buy a car. We want to be a one-stop shop that makes transactions easy from start to finish, including secure online payments. With our different models available on this platform, we’re sure we’ll be able to meet the needs of more and more consumers,” he said.
The release said that TKM is still working to improve its customers’ digital experiences. The “Wheels on Web” platform is an important part of these business plans, and it will give customers a unique, easy, and reliable way to buy a car online.
