Tata Motors Unveils Ambitious Electric Vehicle Line-up

Tata Motors has been a trailblazer in the Indian mass-market electric vehicle (EV) segment with successful launches like the Tigor EV, Nexon EV, Tiago EV, and most recently, the Punch EV. Now, the company gears up for four new EV launches slated for late next year.

1. The Acti.EV Architecture: Shailesh Chandra, MD of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, unveiled the Acti.EV architecture alongside the Punch EV launch. This advanced platform will underpin all upcoming passenger EVs, promising innovation and efficiency.

2. Curvv EV: Leading the pack is the Curvv EV, set to redefine the EV SUV segment. Positioned above the Nexon EV, it will rival the Hyundai Creta EV. With a distinctive four-door SUV-coupe design, the Curvv EV aims to establish Tata’s dominance in midsize EV SUVs before competitors.

3. Harrier EV: Following closely is the Harrier EV SUV, leveraging the acclaimed Land Rover-derived Omega architecture fused with Tata’s Gen 2 EV technology. Scheduled for launch later this year, the Harrier EV signifies Tata’s commitment to electrification, surpassing the awaited Harrier turbo-petrol variant to mark a new era in sustainable mobility.

4. Sierra EV and Altroz EV: Looking ahead to 2025, Tata Motors plans to revive the iconic Sierra nameplate with an all-new electric version. Additionally, the Altroz EV, a testament to Tata’s innovation, will further diversify its EV portfolio.
