Royal Enfield has officially launched the updated Classic 350 lineup, with prices ranging from Rs 1,99,500 to Rs 2,30,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai). This follows the complete reveal of the model last month.
New Features and Variants
The refreshed Classic 350 introduces a host of new features aimed at enhancing its appeal. All variants now come equipped with LED pilot lights, an LED headlamp, and an LED tail-lamp. However, LED indicators are exclusive to the top two variants. These higher-end models also come standard with the Tripper navigation pod and adjustable levers, which are available as optional extras on the other variants.
Mechanically, the Classic 350 remains unchanged, retaining the familiar J-platform with a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that delivers 20hp and 27Nm of torque. The bike continues to offer the same cycle parts as the previous version, with the key difference being the discontinuation of the single-channel ABS and rear drum brake options.
Royal Enfield has also updated the variant nomenclature, with the five options now being: Heritage (Rs 1,99,500), Heritage Premium (Rs 2.04 lakh), Signals (Rs 2.16 lakh), Dark (Rs 2.25 lakh), and Chrome (Rs 2.30 lakh). The updated pricing represents a slight increase from the previous model, which was priced between Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.25 lakh.
Competition in the Market
The Classic 350 faces stiff competition in its segment, including the Triumph Speed 400 (Rs 2.35 lakh), Harley-Davidson X440 (Rs 2.40 lakh-Rs 2.80 lakh), Jawa 350 (Rs 2.15 lakh), and Honda CB350 (Rs 2 lakh-Rs 2.18 lakh). Each of these models aims to capture a share of the Classic 350’s established market presence.
