Range Rover Sport 2025 Price Rises by ₹5 Lakh, Now Starts at ₹1.45 Crore

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India has revealed the pricing for the 2025 Range Rover Sport, with the entry-level model now starting at ₹1.45 crore (ex-showroom). The ₹5 lakh price hike follows the discontinuation of the Dynamic SE variant, making the Dynamic HSE the new starting point for the locally assembled lineup.

Enhanced Features in the 2025 Dynamic HSE

The Dynamic HSE trim comes packed with advanced features, elevating its premium appeal. Highlights include:

  • Semi-Aniline leather upholstery
  • Powered, heated, and ventilated seats
  • Head-up display
  • Auto-parking assist

Additionally, the 2025 model borrows several features from the higher Autobiography variant, such as:

  • Front massage seats
  • Front and rear winged headrests
  • Illuminated seatbelt buckles
  • Illuminated aluminum tread plates bearing the Range Rover logo

Engine and Performance Options

The engine lineup for the locally assembled Range Rover Sport remains unchanged:

  • P400 (Petrol): A 3.0-liter, six-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 400hp
  • D350 (Diesel): A 3.0-liter, six-cylinder unit delivering 351hp

Both engines come paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard 4×4 capability.

India Pricing and Variants

The 2025 Range Rover Sport is available in five variants:

  • Dynamic HSE: ₹1.45 crore for both the P400 (petrol) and D350 (diesel) trims
  • CBU Imports:
    • P460e PHEV Autobiography: ₹2.11 crore
    • P530 Autobiography (4.4-liter V8): ₹2.12 crore
    • P530 SV Edition Two: ₹2.95 crore

How It Stacks Up Against Rivals

With the price revision, the Range Rover Sport sits slightly above competitors like the Porsche Cayenne (₹1.43 crore onwards) and the BMW X7 (₹1.3 crore onwards), further emphasizing its luxury positioning.
