In March 2023, Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 170,071 cars. The company sold 136,787 units in its own country, 3,165 units to other OEMs, and 30,119 units abroad, which was the most it had ever exported in a single month.
For the whole fiscal year 2022–2023, the Company sold 1,966,164 units, which was the most it had ever sold. Total sales include domestic sales of 1,644,876 units, which grew by 20.5% over FY 2021-22, sales to other OEM of 61,955 units, and exports of 259,333 units, which was the highest number ever.
In FY 2022-23, the lack of electronic parts had some effect on the production of cars. The company did everything it could to lessen the effect.
