Maruti Suzuki has updated the Celerio for 2025, making six airbags standard across all variants. While this marks a significant improvement in safety, it comes at a cost—prices have been increased by up to ₹32,500, effective immediately.
Enhanced Safety, Higher Prices
Previously, the Celerio was equipped with just two airbags as standard, but this upgrade aligns it with evolving safety norms for compact cars. This move is expected to extend to other Maruti Suzuki models soon.
Alongside this safety enhancement, the Celerio lineup sees a price hike across most variants, except for the ZXi AMT trim. The highest increment applies to the top-spec ZXi+ AMT, which is now ₹32,500 costlier, while the ZXi MT and LXi MT variants follow closely with a ₹27,500 increase. The VXi AMT variant sees a ₹21,000 hike, whereas the VXi CNG MT is up by ₹16,000.
