Lamborghini is gearing up to launch the Temerario in India on April 30, 2025, much earlier than its previously expected late-2025 debut. As the successor to the Huracán, the Temerario brings an electrified powertrain and cutting-edge aerodynamics, marking a bold new chapter in Lamborghini’s lineup. This launch follows its global unveiling in August 2024, making it one of the quickest arrivals for a Lamborghini supercar in the Indian market.
Powertrain: Electrified Performance with 920hp Output
At the heart of the Temerario is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and a trio of electric motors. The V8 alone delivers 800hp and 730Nm, revving up to an exhilarating 10,000rpm. When combined with the electric motors, the total output soars to 920hp and 800Nm.

0-100 km/h: 2.7 seconds
-
Top Speed: 343 km/h
The 3.8kWh plug-in hybrid system enhances performance while enabling regenerative charging. It can be fully recharged in 30 minutes using a 7kW AC charger or replenished on the go via regenerative braking and the combustion engine.
Exterior: A Fusion of Aggression and Aerodynamics
Lamborghini has retained the sharp, aggressive stance of its predecessor while introducing significant aerodynamic improvements.
-
Shark-nose front end and a sculpted lower-lip spoiler for better airflow
-
Hexagon-inspired LED DRLs complementing the slimmer headlights
-
Hexagonal elements carried over to the tail lights, exhausts, mirrors, and fuel cap
-
20-inch (front) and 21-inch (rear) wheels available in forged alloy or carbon-fibre
The Temerario features an all-new aluminium spaceframe, which increases torsional rigidity by 20% over the Huracán’s mixed carbon-fibre and aluminium structure. For those seeking track-ready performance, Lamborghini offers an Alleggerita package, which replaces several components with carbon fibre, reducing the dry weight to 1,690kg.
Interior: Aircraft-Inspired Cockpit with Advanced Tech
The cabin embraces a fighter jet-inspired layout, similar to the Revuelto. Key highlights include:
-
12.3-inch digital driver’s display
-
8.4-inch vertically-mounted touchscreen infotainment system
-
9.1-inch passenger display
-
Physical buttons on the steering wheel for a more tactile experience
-
18-way adjustable, heated, and ventilated driver’s seat
The iconic fighter jet-style start/stop button remains a signature Lamborghini feature, adding to the car’s theatrical appeal.
Expected Price & Rivals
With advanced technology and a hybrid powertrain, the Lamborghini Temerario is expected to command a slight premium over the Huracán, likely around ₹7 crore (ex-showroom, India). It will compete against the McLaren 750S and Ferrari 296 GTB, both of which offer electrified supercar experiences.
