Jeep Wrangler Willys 41 Special Edition Launched at ₹73.24 Lakh

Jeep has introduced a new limited-edition version of its iconic off-roader—the Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition—priced at ₹73.24 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Celebrating Jeep’s rich military heritage, this exclusive model is limited to just 30 units across the country.

A Tribute to Jeep’s Military Legacy

Based on the range-topping Wrangler Rubicon, the Willys ‘41 Edition stands out with a distinctive “41 Green” paint scheme—an homage to the military green hue of the original Willys MB. Enhancing the retro theme is a ‘1941’ decal on the hood, referencing the year the first Willys Jeep entered mass production. Buyers can also choose from standard colours like white, black, red, and grey.

Exclusive Features and Accessories

This limited-run model brings in several functional and visual upgrades. Key additions include:

  • Electrically operated side steps

  • All-weather floor mats

  • Reinforced grab handles inside the cabin

  • Dual dashcams (front and rear), ideal for off-road adventures

Customers seeking a more rugged look can opt for an accessory package priced at ₹4.65 lakh, which adds a sunrider roof, side-mounted ladder, and roof carrier—perfect for overlanding enthusiasts.

Powertrain and Off-Road Capability

Mechanically, the Willys ‘41 Special Edition remains unchanged from the standard Rubicon. It continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 270hp and 400Nm of torque. This is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Jeep’s renowned full-time 4×4 system.

Exclusivity and Collectability

With only 30 units available in India, the Willys ‘41 Special Edition is a rare find. It’s designed for Jeep aficionados who appreciate the brand’s legacy and want a vehicle that blends heritage with modern-day capability.
