Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India launches OBD2-compliant 2023 SP 125 priced at INR 85,131

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has released the new 2023 SP 125 motorcycle, which is compatible with OBD2. The bike is available in two different styles: Drum and Disc. The Drum model costs Rs 85,131 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Disc model costs Rs 89,131. (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new SP 125 is made for the next era of change. Its top-of-the-line features are meant to keep riders ahead of the curve and give them the best value for their money. The trusted 125cc PGM-FI engine from Honda gives the bike its power. Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology gives the engine even more power. This technology improves performance by reducing friction, making it possible to start the car silently, and making the ride smooth and good for the environment.

The eSP technology is a combination of several unique features, such as the Honda ACG Starter, which gets rid of the need for a traditional starter motor, and the Swing Back feature, which turns the engine in a slightly different direction to make it easier to start the engine with a small amount of power.

“With the release of the OBD2-compliant 2023 SP125, we are proud to offer a motorcycle that is not only sporty and stylish but also efficient and good value for money. Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President, and CEO of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, “The SP125 is a sign of how hard we work to meet our customers’ expectations, and we are confident that it will give motorcycle fans a great riding experience.”

The 2023 Honda SP125 has a tank that looks very aggressive. The 5-spoke split alloy wheels and LED DC headlamp also give it a sporty look. Other design highlights include a wide grab rail, a muffler with a chrome finish, an Engine Start/Stop Switch, a 5-speed gearbox, a 5-step adjustable rear suspension, a Combi-Brake System (CBS) with an equalizer, and a tail lamp that gives the bike a bold look from the back.

The 2023 Honda SP125 has a full digital meter that shows the rider everything they need to know, like how much fuel they are using, what gear they are in, when their next service is due, and an ECO indicator. The bike also comes in five different colors: black, matte axis grey metallic, imperial red metallic, pearl siren blue metallic, and new matte marvel blue metallic.
