Ducati Streetfighter V4: Updated for 2025, India Launch Expected Next Year

Ducati has carried over several upgrades from the Panigale V4 to its highly acclaimed Streetfighter V4, making it an even more formidable offering in the naked bike segment. Here’s a closer look at the updates for the 2025 model, which is expected to hit Indian showrooms in 2025.

Performance Upgrades

The 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine in the updated Streetfighter now delivers an impressive 214hp at 13,500rpm—a boost of 6hp over the previous model. Torque output, however, is slightly reduced to 120Nm at 11,250rpm, down by 3Nm. Ducati notes the engine is tuned identically to the Panigale V4, though the Panigale edges ahead with an additional 2hp.

Key Mechanical Changes

Essentially a stripped-down version of the Panigale V4, the new Streetfighter adopts a double-sided swingarm, departing from Ducati’s signature single-sided design. Its electronics suite has also been enhanced, with all functions now managed via a 6.9-inch TFT display, a feature first introduced on the Panigale V4.

Refined Aerodynamics and Design

The Streetfighter’s aesthetics have been refreshed to align with the newly unveiled Streetfighter V2. Updated aerodynamic elements include redesigned wings—one pair on the fuel tank and another on the radiator shrouds—for improved downforce and stability.

Reduced Weight and Improved Components

Ducati has successfully trimmed 4kg off the bike’s weight, with the S variant now tipping the scales at 189kg and the standard model at 191kg. Both versions feature top-tier braking components, including the Brembo Hypure calipers, a technology shared with select high-performance motorcycles like the Panigale V4 and Aprilia RSV4.

  • S Variant: Equipped with semi-active Öhlins suspension and lightweight forged aluminum wheels.
  • Standard Variant: Features a manually adjustable Showa/Sachs suspension setup and cast alloy wheels.

Pricing and Availability

Currently, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 starts at ₹24.62 lakh for the standard version and ₹28 lakh for the S variant (ex-showroom). The updated 2025 model is likely to command a higher price when it arrives in India next year.

With its enhanced performance, advanced electronics, and refreshed design, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 continues to assert its dominance as a top-tier street bike.
