BMW Group India has outlined an ambitious product offensive for 2026, confirming six all-new BMW models alongside multiple facelifts and updates across its portfolio. The launch roadmap spans the BMW, Mini, and BMW Motorrad brands, making 2026 one of the most aggressive years for the company in India.
Speaking about the upcoming launches, BMW Group India President and CEO Hardeep Singh Brar said the brand is gearing up for a major transformation in both products and reach.

BMW India has confirmed 10 new BMW launches in 2026, of which:
-
6 will be entirely new models
-
4 will receive major updates or facelifts
-
3 will be fully electric vehicles (EVs)
In addition to this, the company has also announced 10 new Mini models for the Indian market, reinforcing its premium small-car strategy.
Upcoming BMW EVs Expected in 2026
Electric mobility will play a central role in BMW India’s plans. Among the confirmed and expected launches are:
-
BMW iX facelift
-
BMW i5 Long Wheelbase (LWB)
These two models are expected to arrive by mid-2026, accounting for two of the three upcoming electric launches. The third EV has not yet been officially revealed.
BMW India’s Strong 2025 Performance
BMW India enters 2026 on the back of its best-ever sales year. In 2025, the company sold 17,271 units, marking a 15 percent growth over 2024. This performance significantly narrowed the gap with luxury market leader Mercedes-Benz India, reducing the difference to roughly 1,000 units, compared to nearly 2,500 units a year earlier.
EVs Now Account for Over 20% of BMW Sales
Electric vehicles have emerged as a key growth driver for BMW India:
-
EVs contributed 21 percent of total sales in 2025
-
In Q4 2025, EV share rose to 23 percent
-
Contribution is now approaching 25 percent
The BMW iX1 has been the standout performer, accounting for around 3,000 units out of BMW’s total EV sales of approximately 3,500 units last year.
BMW Group India to Expand to 10 New Cities
Beyond product launches, BMW Group India plans to expand its dealership and service network to 10 additional cities in 2026. This move aims to capture growing luxury demand beyond major metros and strengthen brand accessibility nationwide.
Outlook for 2026
Looking ahead, BMW India expects double-digit growth to be the minimum benchmark in 2026. With a rapidly expanding portfolio, increasing EV adoption, and wider retail presence, the company is positioning itself for sustained momentum in India’s competitive luxury car market.
