BMW F 450 GS India Launch Confirmed for Late 2025

BMW Motorrad has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated F 450 GS will debut in India by the end of 2025. The concept version of this 450cc adventure tourer was first showcased at EICMA 2024, though an exact launch timeline was not provided at the time. Now, the German brand has revealed its plans via an announcement on social media.

BMW F 450 GS: What to Expect

Inspired by its larger sibling, the R 1300 GS, the F 450 GS concept featured the signature quad daytime running lamps (DRLs), a 6.5-inch TFT display, and cross-spoke wheels. However, the production model is expected to undergo a few refinements, including a revised headlight design in place of the GS-badged DRLs.

Under the hood, BMW’s latest 450cc parallel-twin engine will power the motorcycle, delivering 48hp. The bike is also expected to maintain a lightweight construction, with the concept version weighing approximately 175kg.

BMW’s well-established naming convention suggests that this new powertrain could lead to additional models in the lineup, expanding the brand’s presence in the middleweight adventure segment.

With its GS-inspired styling, a brand-new engine, and BMW’s premium build quality, the F 450 GS is shaping up to be an exciting addition to India’s ADV motorcycle market. More details, including pricing and features, should emerge as the launch approaches.
