Aston Martin Announces Two New Launches for India: DBX707 and Next-Gen Vanquish

Aston Martin is gearing up for an exciting double launch in India, featuring the updated DBX707 and the all-new next-generation Vanquish. The DBX707 is scheduled to hit Indian roads in November, while the new Vanquish will make its global debut on September 2, with an Indian arrival expected in the second quarter of 2025.

Updated Aston Martin DBX707: Design, Specs, and India Launch

The Aston Martin DBX707, which underwent a major tech update earlier this year, will be available only in its top-spec 707 version following the discontinuation of the 550hp variant. The updated model retains its formidable 707hp, 900Nm, 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. This all-wheel-drive system can transfer up to 100% of the torque to the rear axle on demand, enhancing driving dynamics.

Notable upgrades for the DBX707 include a new 10.25-inch touchscreen in the ‘waterfall’-styled center stack, running Aston Martin’s bespoke infotainment system with standard smartphone mirroring and SUV-specific features like hill-descent control. The vehicle also features a new 12.3-inch digital driver display, and the four drive-select buttons on the dashboard have been replaced by a more modern toggle-style shifter on the center console.

The current DBX707 is priced at INR 4.63 crore, with the updated model expected to be around INR 5 crore.

Next-Gen Aston Martin Vanquish: Design, Specs, and Global Debut

Aston Martin is set to revive the legendary Vanquish nameplate with an all-new grand tourer, powered by a twin-turbo V12 engine delivering 835hp and 1,000Nm of torque – a significant upgrade over the outgoing DBS. The new Vanquish marks a departure from its predecessors, which were equipped with naturally aspirated V12 engines.

Teaser images reveal a glimpse of its futuristic tail lights, tan leather seats, headlights, and grille. Spy shots suggest the design is based on the DB12 platform, but with distinctive features such as larger bonnet vents, a wider front grille, a more pronounced lower splitter, and a larger rear diffuser. The exhaust setup has also been revamped, moving from a twin-exit to a quad tailpipe arrangement.

The next-gen Vanquish is set to make its global debut on September 2, with an Indian launch planned for mid-2025.
