2025 Honda Transalp 750 Set for India Launch by Mid-Year

The updated Honda XL750 Transalp, first unveiled globally in late 2024, is now gearing up for its India debut. Sources suggest the adventure tourer is expected to arrive in showrooms between June and July 2025, with an ex-showroom price likely to remain at ₹10.99 lakh.

What’s New on the 2025 XL750 Transalp?

The 2025 iteration of the Transalp brings a host of thoughtful updates aimed at improving both form and function, while retaining the core package that made the bike a well-regarded middleweight ADV.

Key visual upgrades include a redesigned headlamp that now features a compact bi-LED setup, along with a tweaked windscreen that incorporates a new central duct to better channel airflow over the rider’s helmet – a subtle yet practical improvement for long-distance comfort.

Suspension Recalibrated

One of the most welcome changes lies in the suspension department. The front fork damping has been reduced, while the rear shock has been firmed up, addressing a key criticism of the outgoing model – the soft rear suspension, especially noticeable when riding two-up.

Tech and Display Upgrades

Inside the cockpit, Honda has replaced the previous dash with a new 5-inch TFT display, which now supports Bluetooth connectivity and offers greater customisation options. The switchgear has also been updated, borrowing from the setup seen on Honda’s NX500.

Unfortunately, tubeless wheels are still missing, as the bike continues to roll on spoked wheels with tubed tyres – a potential downside for some adventure riders.

New Colours, Same Proven Engine

The updated Transalp is now offered in three fresh paint schemes:

  • Rose White

  • Graphite Black

  • Pearl Deep Mud Grey

Mechanically, the motorcycle remains unchanged and continues to be powered by the familiar 755cc parallel-twin engine, producing 91.7 hp at 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. The motor, shared with the CB750 Hornet, is known for its smooth power delivery and strong mid-range performance.

Final Word

With its revised suspension, updated electronics, and refreshed styling, the 2025 Honda XL750 Transalp looks set to sharpen its edge in the mid-weight ADV segment. If Honda manages to retain the same price point, it could offer a compelling value proposition for adventure enthusiasts looking for a versatile, capable machine.
