Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has announced that the Volkswagen Virtus achieved its highest-ever monthly sales record in October 2024, with 2,351 units sold. This milestone strengthens the Virtus’s position as India’s best-selling premium sedan of the year, reflecting its growing popularity among Indian consumers. Compared to October 2023, Virtus sales surged by 32%, underscoring the model’s ongoing momentum in the market.
Overall, Volkswagen India saw a 9% increase in October sales year-over-year, indicating strong demand for the brand’s German-engineered vehicles, celebrated for their performance and reliability.

Since its launch in 2022, the Virtus has gained rapid traction in the premium sedan category, averaging nearly 60 units sold daily across India. With over 50,000 units sold in the domestic market to date and 17,000 units sold this year alone, the Virtus is leading the resurgence of premium sedans in India.
