Volkswagen India opened eight new touchpoints in Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu as part of a plan to expand its reach and make it easier for people to reach it all over the country. The company said that by 2023, it would have 182 sales touchpoints and 140 service touchpoints in 130 places.
Belagavi, Davanagere, and Vijayapura in Karnataka, Coimbatore and Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu, Kodungallur in Kerala, and Mohali and Pathankot in Punjab are the eight new links that were opened. The recently opened touchpoints offer services like sales, used cars (Das WeltAuto. ), and service after the sale. Volkswagen now has 161 sales points and 126 service points in 121 cities in India, thanks to the new additions to its network.
Volkswagen’s German-made products and customer service now have a new home in these towns, where eight “touchpoints” have just opened.
Ashish Gupta, the Brand Director for Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, said, “India’s fast economic growth has made people outside of the big towns want premium vehicles. In turn, this change is making more and more people in different parts of the country want to buy our cars. Our concerted efforts to expand our network will help us meet this demand and bring the Brand’s line of German-engineered goods to more customers in India than ever before.”
“At the same time, we know that strong after-sales services are an important part of a well-rounded owning experience. So, our commitment to giving our customers an unmatched level of convenience and happiness throughout their ownership journey will help us build a relationship with them that will last for a long time.
We hope to bring more customers into the Volkswagen family through these new links and give them an unmatched ownership experience that is smooth, satisfying, and truly exceptional,” he said.
