The recent GST 2.0 revision has brought a welcome surprise for two-wheeler buyers across India, with several motorcycles becoming significantly more affordable. Even popular commuter bikes like the Hero HF Deluxe and TVS Sport have seen price cuts of around Rs 5,000, while premium models are witnessing reductions of up to Rs 68,000.
If you’re planning to buy a new bike, now might be the best time to do so. Here are the five motorcycles that have benefited the most from the GST-led price revision, along with a couple of noteworthy mentions.
5. TVS Apache RR 310 — Price Cut: Up to Rs 24,310
The flagship TVS Apache RR 310 has always been one of the most value-packed entry-level sportbikes in India, and now it’s an even better deal.
The price of the base variant has come down from Rs 2.78 lakh to Rs 2.56 lakh, while the top-spec model equipped with a quickshifter now costs Rs 2.72 lakh, down from Rs 2.95 lakh.
Even the limited-edition variant launched to celebrate 20 years of the Apache series has become more affordable, dropping from Rs 3.37 lakh to Rs 3.11 lakh. This version features a black-and-red colour scheme, dual-channel ABS, and a USB charger.
4. Zontes 350T Adventure — Price Cut: Rs 25,400
The Zontes 350T Adventure is one of the most premium models from the Chinese brand’s Indian lineup, distributed by Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI).
Powered by a 348cc single-cylinder engine producing 38.8hp and 32.8Nm, the adventure tourer’s price has dropped from Rs 3.25 lakh to Rs 3.00 lakh after the GST revision.
This substantial reduction makes the 350T Adventure one of the most affordable entry-level ADVs with high-end features like keyless ignition, TFT display, and ride modes.
3. Kawasaki Ninja 300 — Price Cut: Rs 26,000
One of India’s most iconic sportbikes, the Kawasaki Ninja 300, has also received a healthy price cut.
The bike’s ex-showroom price has dropped from Rs 3.43 lakh to Rs 3.17 lakh, a straight Rs 26,000 reduction. It continues to be powered by a 296cc parallel-twin engine delivering 39hp at 11,000rpm and 26.1Nm at 10,000rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch.
With its aggressive styling, new 2025 colour options, and refined twin-cylinder motor, the Ninja 300 is now more accessible to aspiring sportbike enthusiasts.
2. Keeway V302C — Price Cut: Rs 30,000
The Keeway V302C is a stylish cruiser that offers a rare V-twin experience in the sub-5-lakh segment. Its 298cc V-twin engine produces 29.5hp and 26.5Nm, delivering smooth torque and a unique exhaust note.
Thanks to the GST revision, its price has dropped from Rs 4.29 lakh to Rs 3.99 lakh — a Rs 30,000 reduction. That makes the V302C an even more appealing choice for riders seeking a laid-back cruiser with premium design and character.
1. Kawasaki Versys-X 300 — Price Cut: Rs 30,000
Claiming the top spot is the Kawasaki Versys-X 300, which has seen a price drop from Rs 3.79 lakh to Rs 3.49 lakh, a reduction of Rs 30,000.
While the cut matches the Keeway V302C in absolute terms, it represents a higher percentage reduction, earning the Versys-X 300 first place.
This adventure tourer shares its 296cc parallel-twin engine with the Ninja 300 but is tuned differently for more linear torque delivery. With 40hp on tap, a comfortable riding posture, and long-travel suspension, the Versys-X 300 has become a lot more enticing for touring enthusiasts.
Honourable Mentions
Kawasaki KX250 — Price Cut: Rs 68,000
The Kawasaki KX250, a high-performance motocross machine, has received the biggest price reduction overall — a whopping Rs 68,000. Its price has dropped from Rs 8.47 lakh to Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
However, since it’s an off-road competition bike not meant for street use, it doesn’t make the main list.
Kawasaki KX85 — Price Cut: Rs 32,000
Another competition-oriented model, the KX85, designed for young riders and training circuits, has become more affordable too. Its price has fallen from Rs 4.20 lakh to Rs 3.88 lakh, a Rs 32,000 reduction.
