2025 Tata Sierra Launched at ₹11.49 Lakh

Tata Motors has officially brought back the iconic Sierra badge after more than 20 years. Priced from ₹11.49 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory), the 2025 Sierra slots above the Curvv in Tata’s SUV lineup. Bookings open on December 16, with customer deliveries beginning January 15. After showcasing the production-ready SUV last week, Tata has now released the full technical and variant details.

The star of the 2025 Sierra is Tata’s newly developed 1.5-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol motor.

🔹 1.5L Naturally Aspirated Petrol (106hp, 145Nm)

This Atkinson-cycle unit prioritises fuel efficiency.

🔸 1.5L Diesel (118hp)

Tata’s familiar 1.5-litre diesel also joins the range.

Currently, the Sierra is front-wheel-drive only, though the ARGOS platform supports AWD, CNG, and hybrid powertrains—leaving scope for future versions.
