Simple Energy has enhanced its One electric scooter, now boasting an IDC-claimed range of 248km. Despite this upgrade, the price remains unchanged at ₹1.66 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
The scooter retains its 5kWh dual-battery setup, comprising a fixed 3.7kWh unit and a removable 1.3kWh pack. While its mechanical components remain largely the same, improvements in drivetrain efficiency and electronic optimization have contributed to the extended range. Weighing 136kg and featuring a 796mm seat height, the Simple One remains one of the heavier and taller electric scooters in its segment.
This update also introduces new features such as a tyre pressure monitoring system, regenerative braking, and a USB charging port. Currently, Simple Energy operates with a limited network of 10 dealerships, but the company has ambitious plans to expand to 150 showrooms and 200 service centers by the end of FY2026.
