Oben Rorr EZ Sigma Electric Bike Launched at ₹1.27 Lakh with New Features and Battery Options

Oben Electric has introduced the new Rorr EZ Sigma electric motorcycle in India, priced at an introductory ₹1.27 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned as a more feature-rich alternative to the standard Rorr EZ, the Sigma variant packs several enhancements, including a vibrant 5-inch TFT display and a reverse assist function.

Key Highlights of the Oben Rorr EZ Sigma:

  • New 5-inch TFT colour display with turn-by-turn navigation, music, calls, and SMS alerts

  • Reverse mode for easier maneuvering in tight spaces

  • Dual battery options – 3.4kWh and 4.4kWh

  • Maximum IDC range of up to 175km

  • LFP battery tech ensures better heat resistance and longer life

  • Available in four colours, including a new red shade

The Rorr EZ Sigma comes equipped with Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) battery packs developed in-house by Oben. These batteries not only provide 50% better thermal stability but also offer twice the lifespan when compared to the commonly used NMC battery chemistry. The two available battery capacities offer different performance figures:

  • 3.4kWh variant: 140km range (IDC), weighs 143kg

  • 4.4kWh variant: 175km range (IDC), weighs 148kg

Both versions share a top speed of 95kmph and a 0–40kmph acceleration time of 3.3 seconds. Fast charging support allows the battery to be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 1.5 hours.

Feature-Rich and Connected

Beyond the TFT screen and reverse mode, the EZ Sigma also offers a redesigned seat for improved comfort, three ride modes (Eco, City, Havoc), and a 7-step preload-adjustable monoshock. Safety is taken care of with a Combi Braking System (CBS). The bike is also compatible with the Oben mobile app, which enables features like remote diagnostics, live GPS tracking, geo-fencing, anti-theft alerts, and nearby charging station information.

Pricing and Variants

At launch, the Oben Rorr EZ Sigma is priced as follows:

  • 3.4kWh variant – ₹1.27 lakh

  • 4.4kWh variant – ₹1.37 lakh
