The next-generation Hyundai Venue has been spotted on test once again, and the latest spy shots offer a closer look at what’s to come. Internally known as the QU2i, this upcoming version of Hyundai’s popular compact SUV is expected to launch in India by October 2025, and it promises a bolder design along with updated features, while retaining the proven powertrain options.
Bold New Look for the 2025 Venue
The upcoming Venue takes on a noticeably more upright and boxier stance, hinting at a more rugged appeal. The front-end styling gets a fresh dose of aggression with a split headlamp setup, a rectangular-patterned grille, and integrated front parking sensors. An ADAS module is also visible—signaling Hyundai’s push toward semi-autonomous tech in the compact SUV space.
New Wheels, Full Disc Brakes, and Updated Profile
On the sides, the test vehicle sports new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, flanked by chunkier wheel arch cladding. The side mirrors appear sleeker and the roof rails look more pronounced. Notably, there’s no sign of the distinctive kink in the rear window line found on the current model, giving the profile a cleaner, more contemporary look.
All four wheels are equipped with disc brakes, a feature currently reserved only for the Venue N Line. The presence of a DCT badge on the fender suggests dual-clutch transmission will continue to be a key offering.
Rear Design Tweaks
At the rear, the next-gen Venue test mule features a longer roof spoiler and a redesigned area around the connected tail-lamps, possibly indicating changes to aerodynamics or lighting design. The rear bumper houses multiple parking sensors, pointing to enhanced safety and driver assistance features.
Cabin and Features: What to Expect
While the interior hasn’t been revealed in the latest spy images, expect a completely refreshed dashboard layout inspired by the likes of the updated Creta and Alcazar. Hyundai is likely to pack in premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, larger infotainment and instrument displays, ventilated front seats, and an ADAS suite. These additions would bring the Venue more in line with segment expectations and rivals.

Hyundai is expected to carry over the current engine line-up unchanged. This includes:

The new-gen Hyundai Venue will be manufactured at the brand’s Talegaon facility in Maharashtra and is scheduled for a market launch in October 2025. With its updated styling, improved tech, and familiar drivetrains, Hyundai aims to keep the Venue competitive in the ever-evolving compact SUV segment.
