New Skoda Kylaq Classic+ and Prestige+ Variants Launched in India

Alongside the reveal of the updated Skoda Kylaq lineup at the Kushaq facelift showcase, Skoda India has expanded the Kylaq range with two all-new trims — Classic+ and Prestige+. With this update, the Kylaq compact SUV now offers a wider spread of variants and features, aimed at both value-focused buyers and those looking for a more premium experience.

In addition, Skoda has confirmed feature upgrades for the mid-spec Signature and Signature+ trims, while also announcing a new Kylaq Sportline variant that will arrive later this year.

Skoda Kylaq Variant Line-up Expanded to Six Trims

The Kylaq range has grown from four to six trims, making the lineup more versatile than before.

Skoda Kylaq Classic+ Variant: What’s New?

Positioned above the entry-level Classic trim, the new Classic+ significantly improves value by adding several comfort and convenience features. Importantly, it also introduces an automatic gearbox option at a more accessible price point.

Key Highlights of Kylaq Classic+

  • 16-inch alloy wheels

  • Electric sunroof

  • Auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror

  • Automatic rain-sensing wipers

  • Cruise control

  • Steering-mounted audio and phone controls

The Classic+ is priced Rs 66,000 higher than the base Classic manual, while also becoming the most affordable Kylaq automatic, undercutting the earlier starting price by about Rs 85,000. Power comes from the familiar 115hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with either a manual or automatic transmission.

Signature and Signature+ Variants Get Feature Boost

Skoda has also upgraded the popular mid-spec trims by adding features previously reserved for higher variants.

New Features Added

  • Electric sunroof

  • Rear wiper

  • Automatic wipers

  • Paddle shifters (automatic variants only)

With these additions, prices have seen a marginal increase. The Signature trim now ranges from Rs 9.43 lakh to Rs 10.43 lakh, while the Signature+ sits between Rs 10.77 lakh and Rs 11.77 lakh.

Kylaq Sportline and Prestige+ Explained

Kylaq Sportline (Launching by September)

The upcoming Sportline trim will focus on a sportier visual identity. While Skoda has not revealed full details yet, expect:

  • Sport-inspired exterior styling elements

  • Darker interior accents

  • No mechanical changes under the hood

Kylaq Prestige+ (New Top-spec Variant)

The newly introduced Prestige+ now sits at the top of the Kylaq range. To create a clearer distinction:

  • The standard Prestige trim loses its 6-way powered front seats

  • Prestige becomes Rs 24,000 cheaper than before

  • Prestige+ retains the most comprehensive feature set in the lineup

Despite the reshuffle, the Kylaq’s maximum price remains unchanged at Rs 12.99 lakh, now represented by the Prestige+ variant.

Final Thoughts

With the introduction of the Classic+ and Prestige+ trims, Skoda has made the Kylaq lineup more competitive and better aligned with buyer expectations. A more affordable automatic option, improved mid-spec variants, and an upcoming Sportline trim make the Kylaq a stronger contender in the compact SUV segment.
