In a remarkable achievement, the Kia Seltos has not only set a record for the highest first-day bookings in its segment but has also continued its winning streak by crossing over 100,000 bookings since its launch in July 2023. With an impressive monthly average of 13,500 bookings, this mid-SUV has firmly established itself in the Indian market. The New Seltos, available at a starting price of 10.99 Lakhs (Ex-showroom), has seen significant success since its initial launch in August 2019, with Kia manufacturing over 6 Lakhs units in India, 75% of which were sold domestically. In the year 2023 alone, Kia achieved a remarkable sales figure of 1.04 Lakhs units of the Seltos.
The allure of automatic variants has captured the preferences of new-age Seltos customers, constituting nearly 50% of the total bookings. As awareness of advanced Active Safety features grows, approximately 40% of buyers express a strong interest in variants equipped with ADAS. Reflecting the enduring preference for sunroofs among Indian customers, 80% of Seltos buyers opt for this feature. The booking ratio of petrol to diesel stands at a healthy 58:42%. The premium appeal of the Seltos is further evident in the booking trends, with 80% of buyers leaning towards the top variants.

The company is actively realigning manufacturing processes to ensure swift access to the beloved SUVs for customers.
Launched in July 2023, the New Seltos has maintained its status as an aspirational vehicle in the Indian market, setting new benchmarks for SUVs. Boasting a refreshed design, enhanced performance with a sportier touch, a robust exterior, a futuristic cabin, and advanced technology, the vehicle features a total of 32 attributes, including 15 robust Hi-Safety features and 17 ADAS Level 2 autonomous features.
