MG Motor India has introduced the M9 MPV at the Auto Expo 2025, marking it as the second model under its premium ‘Select’ retail network after the Cyberster sportscar. The M9 is set for a commercial launch in March 2025, with an expected price of ₹65 lakh. While pre-bookings are now open, official bookings will commence in March, with deliveries slated for April.
MG M9: Key Highlights
The M9, internationally known as the Mifa 9, was previously showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo to gauge consumer interest. The electric MPV is equipped with a front-mounted motor, delivering 245hp and 350Nm of torque. Powered by a 90kWh lithium-ion battery, it offers an impressive WLTP-certified range of 430km.
Design and Dimensions

Its design is distinctly MPV-like, featuring a boxy silhouette, an upright front fascia, and an expansive glasshouse. The bold lighting elements and extensive use of chrome enhance its premium appeal.
Spacious, Luxury-Focused Cabin
Inside, the M9 offers 7- and 8-seater configurations with a focus on comfort and luxury. Highlights include:
- Comfort Features: Heated, ventilated, and massaging front and rear seats with fold-out ottoman functionality.
- Advanced Tech: Dual sunroofs (single-pane upfront and dual-pane for the rear), powered rear-sliding doors, and rear entertainment screens.

With its impressive blend of technology, space, and performance, the MG M9 aims to redefine the luxury MPV segment in India.
