MG Motor has introduced the Comet Blackstorm Edition in India, priced at ₹7.80 lakh (ex-showroom) with an additional ₹2.50 per km for battery rental under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. Based on the top-spec Exclusive variant, the Blackstorm Edition features an all-black theme with sporty red accents. Bookings are now open with a token amount of ₹11,000.

MG has yet to announce the outright purchase price of the Comet Blackstorm (without the BaaS plan). For reference, the standard Comet Exclusive variant with a fast charger and BaaS service costs ₹7.50 lakh (ex-showroom), plus ₹2.50 per km for battery rental.
