KTM Launches New Dirt Bike Range in India, Priced from Rs 4.75 Lakh

KTM has introduced an exciting lineup of dirt bikes in India, starting at Rs 4.75 lakh for the KTM 50 SX and going up to Rs 12.96 lakh for the KTM 350 EXC-F. These new enduro and motocross bikes are part of KTM’s initiative to foster a robust racing culture in the country. This plan includes establishing a motorsport training facility in Bangalore and launching a racing program development platform.

KTM Dirt Bike Range Overview

Of the six models introduced, three are specifically designed for young riders: the KTM 50 SX, KTM 65 SX, and KTM 85 SX. Each of these lightweight bikes is powered by a two-stroke engine, with the 50cc version producing 5.4hp and weighing just 41kg. The KTM 85 SX, aimed at slightly older riders, generates 16hp with a kerb weight of 81kg.

For adult riders seeking more powerful motocross options, KTM offers the 250 SX-F, which packs a 249.9cc four-stroke engine delivering 46.8hp at 13,900rpm and 26.5Nm of torque at 9,500rpm. This model maintains a light build at just 104kg, making it a competitive choice for serious off-road riders.

High-Performance Models

For those looking for a high-power option, the KTM 450 SX-F stands out with its 449.9cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine, delivering a robust 63hp at 9,500rpm and 74Nm of torque. Despite this performance boost, it adds just 3kg over the 250 SX-F, weighing 107kg.

KTM has also included an Enduro model, the 350 EXC-F Six Days, equipped with basic lighting features such as head and tail lamps, making it more versatile. This model features a 349.7cc four-stroke engine that outputs 45hp at 9,500rpm, with a dry weight of 107kg and a tall seat height of 963mm, suitable for more demanding off-road terrains.
