Honda has officially confirmed that it will roll out a redesigned ‘H mark’ logo for its automobile division starting 2027, signalling a fresh chapter in the brand’s global transformation. The new emblem reflects Honda’s renewed focus on electric mobility, hybrid technology, and next-generation vehicle design.
New Honda Logo: What’s Changed?
The updated H mark was first showcased in 2024 on the futuristic Honda 0 Series Saloon, and later appeared on prototype versions of the 0 Series saloon and SUVs at CES 2025. The production-spec 0 Series Saloon will be the first Honda model to wear this new badge.
Unlike the existing logo, which features an ‘H’ enclosed within a rectangular frame, the new emblem removes the enclosure entirely. It adopts smoother curves and a cleaner, minimalist form, aligning with modern EV design trends and Honda’s evolving brand identity.
Designed for the Electric Era
Honda developed the new H mark alongside the upcoming 0 Series electric vehicles, which prioritise:
-
Improved aerodynamic efficiency
-
Enhanced driver engagement
-
A clean-sheet EV-focused design philosophy
The logo is intended to visually represent Honda’s reset strategy as it works to strengthen its position in the rapidly growing EV and hybrid segments.
Where You’ll See the New Honda Logo
From 2027 onwards, the redesigned H mark will appear across:
-
New electric and hybrid-electric Honda cars
-
Dealership signage and showrooms
-
Marketing campaigns and brand communication
-
Honda’s motorsport activities
This ensures a consistent global identity as Honda transitions into its next phase of electrification.
