Honda has introduced an updated version of its Shine 100 commuter motorcycle, now priced at ₹69,000. This revision brings compliance with the latest OBD2B emission norms, ensuring adherence to evolving environmental standards. Additionally, a new black with orange color option replaces the previous black with gold scheme, adding a fresh touch to the lineup.
What’s New?
While the overall design remains unchanged, the Shine 100 continues to be offered in a single variant with five color choices. Under the hood, it retains its 98.98cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing 7.38hp and 8.04Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed gearbox. Notably, despite meeting stricter emission regulations, its performance figures remain consistent with the outgoing model.
With a price increase of ₹2,000 over its predecessor, the Shine 100 remains Honda’s most affordable commuter bike. Since its launch in 2023, it has played a key role in boosting Honda’s sales, helping the brand maintain its leadership in the two-wheeler market.
