Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Limited have officially launched the OBD2-compliant 2023 Activa 125 with a new H-Smart variant. Ex-showroom prices for this new variant start from Rs 88,093 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and it will be sold alongside the regular Disc, Drum alloy, and drum brake variants.
Speaking on the occasion of the launch of the new 2023 Activa 125, Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President, and CEO, of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India said, “We are glad to introduce the OBD2 compliant 2023 Activa 125 now with H-Smart variant. With this new model, we have leveraged the latest technology to ensure that our customers can enjoy a smooth and hassle-free ride while meeting the latest norms.”

The new Activa 125 H-Smart variant comes with a Honda Smart Key, featuring several impressive features such as Smart Find, Smart Unlock, Smart Start, and Smart Safe. Smart Find allows you to find your scooter in a confusing parking lot. A dedicated key switches on all four blinkers at the same time, which allows the user to locate his vehicle.
Smart Unlock allows you to lock and unlock the vehicle without using the physical key. A system is in place, and if it detects any inactivity for 20 seconds after activation, the scooter automatically gets deactivated. Smart Start lets the rider start the vehicle smoothly by rotating the knob on the Loc Mod to the ignition position and pushing the start button without even taking out the key.
Smart Safe features a Mapped Smart ECU that acts as a security device by electronically matching (ID) between ECU and SMART key, therefore preventing any sort of theft.
The H-Smart variant comes with a Lock Mod that facilitates a 5-in–1 function, lock handle ignition OFF, fuel lid open, seat open, and ignition ON – all without the need to insert a physical key.
In addition, the Activa 125 also gains a new full LED headlamp and restyled signature LED position lamps. Further, complementing these updates there are 5 color options available with the Activa 125 that include – Pearl Night Start Black, Heavy Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Precious White, and Mid Night Blue Metallic.
Aside from the H-Smart variant, ex-showroom prices for the Activa 125 Disc variant start from Rs 86,093, the Drum Alloy variant is priced at Rs 82,588 and finally, the base Drum variant starts from Rs 78,920.
