Honda’s BigWing showrooms, traditionally home to the brand’s premium models, are now featuring the Honda Hornet 2.0 and the CB200X. This shift in product positioning aims to enhance the dealership’s appeal and sales.
Sales Strategy and Pricing
The addition of the Hornet 2.0 and CB200X to the BigWing lineup signifies a strategic move to attract more customers. These models will be showcased alongside Honda’s other premium motorcycles, including the CB350, CB350RS, and H’ness CB350. Despite the broader availability, the prices for the Hornet 2.0 and CB200X remain unchanged.
Model Details
The Honda CB200X, built on the same platform as the street-focused Hornet 2.0, stands out with its adventure-inspired design elements. Features such as a fairing, tall windscreen, knuckle guards, and a plastic belly pan give the CB200X a rugged look, making it appear larger and more robust compared to the Hornet 2.0.
Both models are powered by a 184cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 17.26hp at 8,500rpm and 15.9Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. The CB200X is priced at Rs 1.47 lakh, while the Hornet 2.0 is available for Rs 1.39 lakh (both ex-showroom Delhi).
