Honda Gold Wing 50th Anniversary Edition Launched in India at ₹39.90 Lakh

Honda has introduced the 50th Anniversary Edition of its legendary Gold Wing in India, priced at ₹39.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Haryana). This special edition celebrates 50 years of the Gold Wing nameplate, bringing exclusive cosmetic updates and features while staying true to the grand touring legacy of the motorcycle.

What’s New in the 50th Anniversary Edition?

  • Exclusive Cherry Red Paint Scheme: The India-spec model gets a striking new metallic red colour with unique anniversary-themed graphics. A special “Since 1975” animation appears on the 7.0-inch TFT screen during startup, along with matching branding on the key fob.

  • Global Soft Gold Colour Not Offered in India: While the international model also comes in a Soft Gold shade, this colour option is not available for the Indian market.

Core Mechanical Specifications Remain Unchanged

The 50th Anniversary Edition continues to be powered by the same 1,833cc, flat-six, liquid-cooled engine, delivering 126.4hp and 170Nm of torque. It’s paired with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) that includes a reverse gear, ensuring smooth and versatile touring performance.

Feature Highlights

As expected from a flagship touring motorcycle, the special edition comes packed with premium features, including:

  • 7.0-inch TFT display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

  • Traction Control

  • Ride-by-wire system with four selectable riding modes: Tour, Sport, Econ, and Rain

  • Integrated Airbag, a rare feature in motorcycles

Pricing & Availability

The Anniversary Edition is priced at ₹39.90 lakh, making it ₹70,000 costlier than the regular Gold Wing Tour. Interestingly, to create clearer distinction between the two, Honda has reduced the price of the standard Gold Wing Tour from ₹39.70 lakh to ₹39.20 lakh.

Bookings for the 50th Anniversary Edition are now open exclusively at Honda’s BigWing Topline dealerships, with deliveries scheduled to begin in June 2025.
