Honda City Sport Launched at ₹14.89 Lakh

Honda has introduced a new limited-edition variant of its popular midsize sedan — the City Sport — priced at ₹14.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Positioned just above the V CVT trim, the City Sport is available exclusively with a CVT gearbox and brings a host of cosmetic enhancements both inside and out. Mechanically, however, it remains unchanged from the standard lineup.

What’s New in the City Sport?

Exterior Updates

The City Sport stands out with a sportier appearance thanks to a range of blacked-out elements. These include:

Blacked-out front grille, boot-mounted spoiler, shark fin antenna
Black-painted alloy wheels and ORVMs
A unique Sport badge on the boot

Buyers can choose from three paint options:

Radiant Red Metallic
Platinum White Pearl
Meteoroid Gray Metallic

Interior Enhancements

The cabin continues the dark theme with:

Black leatherette upholstery featuring red contrast accents
Red trim on the dashboard, door pads, and steering wheel
Gloss black finish on AC vents, with the roof and pillars also finished in black

Features and Equipment

The City Sport builds on the V CVT variant and adds:

7-colour ambient lighting
Leatherette wrap on the seats, steering wheel, and gear lever

Standard features carried over from the V CVT include:

8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay
ADAS safety suite
Keyless entry & push-button start
Paddle shifters, front fog lamps, and auto headlamps

However, it misses out on some equipment offered on higher trims, such as:

Sunroof
Rear AC vents
LaneWatch camera
4 tweeters (gets only 4 speakers)
7-inch digital instrument cluster
Auto-dimming IRVM and auto wipers

Powertrain: No Changes Under the Hood

The City Sport continues with the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine delivering 121hp, paired exclusively with a 7-step CVT. This engine-gearbox combo is already offered across most of the City lineup.
