Hero MotoCorp has unveiled a teaser for the upcoming Karizma XMR Combat Edition, hinting at key updates for the 2025 model.
While largely retaining the design and performance of the standard Karizma XMR, the Combat Edition introduces a significant upgrade—a golden USD (upside-down) fork. This addition aligns the bike with its closest competitor, the Yamaha R15 V4, and enhances both aesthetics and handling. Hero’s decision to incorporate USD forks comes in response to market demand, as they are often perceived as a premium feature.
Another notable update is the new grey color scheme, reminiscent of the Xoom 110 Combat Edition. However, it remains unclear if Hero will introduce additional enhancements, such as a TFT instrument cluster, similar to the one seen on the recently launched Xpulse 210.
Mechanically, the Karizma XMR Combat Edition retains its 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, delivering 25hp and 20.4Nm of torque. The bike currently weighs 163.5kg, and it will be interesting to see if the USD forks lead to a slight weight increase.
As for pricing, the standard Karizma XMR is currently priced at ₹1.81 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Given the new upgrades, the Combat Edition is expected to carry a slight premium over this price.
