2025 Ducati Panigale V4 Launched in India at ₹30 Lakh

Ducati has officially launched the 2025 Panigale V4 and V4 S in India, with prices set at ₹30 lakh and ₹36.50 lakh, respectively. The latest iteration of Ducati’s flagship superbike introduces significant updates in design, chassis, and aerodynamics, marking the most substantial refresh since its 2018 debut.

2025 Ducati Panigale V4: What’s New?

Performance & Engine

The 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine continues to power the Panigale V4 lineup, now meeting Euro 5+ emission norms. While the power output has increased slightly to 216 hp at 13,500 rpm, the peak torque has dropped by 2.7 Nm to 120.9 Nm, now delivered at a higher 11,250 rpm. Both the standard and ‘S’ variants retain the same engine tune.

Chassis & Suspension

The front frame remains unchanged, but Ducati has reintroduced a conventional swingarm, a first for its flagship superbike since the legendary 916. Despite shifting away from the iconic single-sided swingarm, Ducati claims the new swingarm-rear wheel assembly is 2.7 kg lighter than before.

  • The standard Panigale V4 features a fully adjustable Showa suspension.
  • The V4 S variant gets Öhlins electronic suspension, allowing real-time adjustments.

Brakes & Tyres

The Brembo Hypure calipers replace the outgoing Stylema units, promising improved heat dissipation under extreme braking conditions. The bike now rides on Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V4 tyres, though sizes remain 120/70-ZR17 (front) and 200/60-ZR17 (rear).

Updated Electronics & Rider Aids

A notable addition to the electronics package is the Race eCBS system, which automatically applies the rear brake based on lean angle, throttle position, and rear load—eliminating the need to manually engage it. Other advanced features include:

  • 6.9-inch TFT dash
  • Traction control, wheelie control, launch control
  • Six-axis IMU with cornering ABS
  • Bi-directional quickshifter

Design & Weight Reduction

Ducati has introduced a new fairing design with improved wind protection, while the winglets have been repositioned for better aerodynamics. The headlight and taillight have also been redesigned, enhancing the bike’s aggressive stance.

The V4 S model sets itself apart with additional lightweight components, including aluminium wheels, a lithium-ion battery, and electronic suspension, resulting in a 4 kg weight reduction. The V4 S weighs 187 kg, while the standard Panigale V4 stands at 191 kg.

Price & Competition

With these updates, the 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 is priced at ₹30 lakh, making it ₹2.27 lakh more expensive than its predecessor. Meanwhile, the V4 S costs ₹36.50 lakh, an increase of ₹3.02 lakh over the previous model.

Despite the price hike, Ducati’s latest upgrades ensure the Panigale V4 remains one of the most technologically advanced and performance-focused superbikes in its class.
