Brixton Motorcycles Launches Four Models in India; Prices Start at ₹4.74 Lakh

Brixton Motorcycles has officially entered the Indian market with the introduction of four neo-retro motorcycles: the Crossfire 500X (₹4.74 lakh), Crossfire 500XC (₹5.19 lakh), Cromwell 1200 (₹7.84 lakh), and Cromwell 1200X (₹9.11 lakh). These models aim to cater to enthusiasts seeking stylish designs paired with modern technology and performance.

Crossfire 500X: The Most Affordable Option

The Crossfire 500X, priced at ₹4.74 lakh, is the entry-level offering. Designed as a neo-retro roadster, its sleek aesthetics echo the minimalism of Husqvarna’s Vitpilen series.
Key specifications include:

  • Engine: 486cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder producing 47.6hp and 43Nm of torque.
  • Chassis: Features KYB adjustable suspension and J.Juan brakes with dual-channel ABS.
  • Wheels: 17-inch spoked wheels compatible with tubeless tyres (120/70-ZR17 front, 160/60-ZR17 rear).
  • Dimensions: 190kg curb weight, 795mm seat height, and a 13.5-litre fuel tank.

Crossfire 500XC: A Scrambler Take on the 500 Platform

For ₹5.19 lakh, the Crossfire 500XC offers a scrambler design with off-road-friendly upgrades, including:

  • Visual Enhancements: Beaky front fender, small flyscreen, and larger 19-inch front wheel.
  • Ergonomics: A taller 839mm seat height and 195kg weight, suitable for adventurous rides.

Cromwell 1200: Retro Elegance with Modern Tech

The Cromwell 1200 is a neo-retro motorcycle blending classic aesthetics with contemporary features. At ₹7.84 lakh, it undercuts competitors like the Triumph Bonneville T120 (₹11.09 lakh).
Highlights include:

  • Engine: 1,222cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin producing 83hp and 108Nm.
  • Features: All-LED lighting, TFT display, cruise control, traction control, and two riding modes (Sport, Eco).
  • Dimensions: 800mm seat height, 235kg curb weight, and a 16-litre fuel tank.

Cromwell 1200X: A Scrambler-Inspired Variant

The Cromwell 1200X, priced at ₹9.11 lakh, builds on the Cromwell 1200 with rugged styling cues. These include off-road tyres, a tan seat, headlight grille, flyscreen, and unique color options. While largely similar mechanically, it commands a ₹1.27 lakh premium over the base Cromwell 1200.

Brixton’s Expansion Plans

As part of its Phase One strategy, Brixton aims to establish showrooms in eight cities by the end of next year: Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Pune, Thane, Kolhapur, Goa, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
