BMW Motorrad has introduced the 2025 C 400 GT maxi-scooter in India at an introductory price of ₹11.50 lakh. This latest iteration complies with Euro 5+ emission norms while incorporating subtle design refinements, enhanced features, and a new Exclusive variant.
What’s New in the 2025 BMW C 400 GT?
The updated C 400 GT maintains its petrol-powered engine but now offers a sleeker design, improved practicality, and advanced rider aids. Key updates include:
- Euro 5+ Compliance: The engine meets the latest emission regulations.
- Revised Exhaust System: A longer muffler to adhere to stricter norms.
- Enhanced Rider Aids: The scooter now comes equipped with IMU-assisted cornering ABS, traction control, engine braking control, and engine drag torque control, improving overall safety and stability.
- Lower Seat Height: Reduced by 10mm to 765mm for better accessibility.
- Expanded Storage: Underseat capacity increases by 7.1 litres, totaling 37.6 litres, thanks to a redesigned seat tub and relocated components. The front apron’s right-hand cubby now holds 4.5 litres, an increase of 3.2 litres.
- Adjustable Windscreen: A new two-stage manually adjustable windscreen enhances comfort.
Two Variants: Blackstorm & Exclusive
The 2025 BMW C 400 GT is available in two variants:
- Blackstorm: Features an all-black theme with darkened wheels, seat, and brake calipers.
- Exclusive: Offers a white paint scheme, golden rims, matching brake calipers, and an embroidered emblem on the black seat. A standout addition to this variant is BMW logo projection near the footpegs, akin to the brand’s luxury cars.
Advanced Technology & Features
- Upgraded TFT Display: A 10.25-inch TFT dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity, replacing the previous 6.5-inch unit.
- Keyless Ignition and All-LED Lighting remain standard.
Engine & Performance
The powertrain remains unchanged despite the updated compliance. The 350cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine continues to generate 34hp and 35Nm of torque.
Price & Availability
The outgoing model was priced at ₹11.25 lakh, and with a modest hike of ₹25,000, the new price stands at ₹11.50 lakh. However, this is an introductory offer, and BMW has yet to reveal when a price revision may occur.
