The much-anticipated Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is just around the corner, and several major manufacturers have confirmed their participation, bringing a diverse range of petrol and electric motorcycles and scooters. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect from some of the prominent brands.
Ampere
Ampere is set to unveil the Magnus Neo, which replaces the Magnus EX in its line-up. Featuring a dual-tone paint scheme, this electric scooter is powered by a 2.3kWh LFP battery and offers a real-world range of 70-80 km on a single charge. Ampere will also showcase its other models at the event.
Ather
Ather will present its full range of scooters, including the Rizta S, starting at Rs 1.10 lakh, and the flagship 450 Apex, priced at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
Bajaj
Bajaj will feature its complete range of models, including the newly launched Chetak 3501 and a selection of flex-fuel motorcycles. Expect to see cutting-edge technology and design from this iconic brand.
BMW Motorrad
BMW will reveal the updated S 1000 RR and the all-new R 1300 GSA. The S 1000 RR brings a redesigned fairing and winglets while retaining its core mechanics, whereas the R 1300 GSA comes equipped with advanced electronic aids, radar assistance, and the innovative Automated Shift Assistant (ASA). In addition, BMW will showcase models like the M 1000 XR, R 1300 GS, and the CE 02 and CE 04 electric scooters.
Hero MotoCorp
India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, will make a significant impact with multiple launches. The Xpulse 210 will feature a new motor derived from the Karizma XMR, expected to be priced 20-30% higher than the current Xpulse 200. Another highlight is the Hero Xtreme 250R, featuring a new engine based on the Karizma XMR’s powertrain, likely to be priced around Rs 2 lakh. Hero will also debut the Xoom 160 maxi-scooter, powered by a 156cc liquid-cooled engine, competing with models like the Yamaha Aerox 155. The brand’s electric subsidiary, Vida, will launch the Vida Z, an affordable electric scooter first shown at EICMA 2024.
Honda
Honda is bringing two electric scooters to the Expo: the Activa e: and QC1. The Activa e: boasts a 1.5kWh battery and a claimed range of 102km, while the QC1 offers a more budget-friendly solution with a 1.5kWh battery and a range of 80km. Honda will also display its CB650R and CBR650R motorcycles, which are expected to launch soon.
Ola Electric
Ola will showcase its full line-up of electric scooters and may also debut its electric bikes, the Roadster X and Roadster. With deliveries for its electric bikes and the new S1 Z and Gig scooters scheduled to begin this year, Ola is set to make waves at the event.
River
The Bengaluru-based startup, River, will present the updated Indie e-scooter. The new version features a chain drive instead of the previous belt drive and adds a reverse gear. River will also introduce two new color options: grey and white.
Suzuki
Suzuki will display its updated 150cc and 250cc motorcycles, along with the highly anticipated launch of the updated Access 125 scooter. Alongside these, the company will also showcase its premium, larger motorcycles.
TVS
TVS will bring its latest RT-XD4 engine to the expo, which will serve as the foundation for upcoming models. The company will also present custom motorcycles based on the Ronin, first showcased at the 2024 TVS MotoSoul. Additionally, TVS will highlight its electric range under the iQube brand.
VinFast
Vietnamese brand VinFast, known for its electric cars, will make its debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The company, which also produces electric scooters in its home market, may showcase models like the Klara S, registered for design trademark in India in 2024.
