Ampere Magnus Neo Launched at ₹79,999: Features and Details

Ampere has introduced the Magnus Neo, a new variant in its Magnus electric scooter lineup, priced at ₹79,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This model replaces the Magnus EX and brings several updates to the series.

Design and Features

The Magnus Neo retains a familiar look but stands out with a fresh dual-tone color scheme. It features a simple, functional design, including a compact digital display for essential information. The scooter is available in five color options: black, blue, red, white, and grey.

Performance and Range

Powering the Magnus Neo is a 2.3kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, offering a real-world range of 70-80 km on a single charge. While LFP batteries are known for their durability and safety, they are less energy-dense than NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) batteries, resulting in a slightly lower range than the previous Magnus EX, which offered 80-100 km.

The Magnus Neo achieves a top speed of 65 km/h, making it the fastest variant in the Magnus lineup. Another upgrade is the inclusion of 12-inch wheels, providing better stability compared to the 10-inch wheels on other variants.

Charging and Warranty

Charging the Magnus Neo takes approximately 5-6 hours for a full cycle. Ampere backs the scooter with a robust 5-year/75,000 km battery warranty, reinforcing its reliability.

Pricing and Availability

At ₹79,999, the Magnus Neo is positioned as a cost-effective option in the electric scooter market, combining affordability with practical features and reliable performance.

With its blend of efficiency and modern design, the Magnus Neo is poised to attract budget-conscious buyers seeking an eco-friendly commuting solution.
